Third-Party Platform Data
ClosePilot integrates with third-party platforms such as Dotloop, Skyslope, and others to provide unified transaction management. When you connect these platforms:
- TC-Facing Views Only: Data retrieved from third-party platforms is used solely to provide transaction coordination views and automations that act back on the same transactions in those platforms.
- No Machine Learning: We do not use, nor will we ever use, data from third-party platforms to train, improve, or develop machine learning models or AI features, whether in aggregated, de-identified, or any other form.
- Limited Analytics: Any analytics or reporting we provide (such as average time to close, lender turnaround times) is limited to your own customer or agency data. We do not pool data across customers to create benchmarks, rankings, or product features.
- Temporary Processing: Third-party platform data is retained only as long as necessary to operate the integration and provide the services you request, or as required by law. We do not retain platform data indefinitely.
- No Data Sales: We do not sell, rent, license, or share your data with third parties for their marketing purposes, except with infrastructure/service providers who process data strictly on our behalf as data processors.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption at rest and in transit. Your data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure with regular backups.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services to you, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When you delete your account or disconnect a third-party platform, we will delete or anonymize data from that platform within a reasonable timeframe, subject to our backup and legal obligations.
